About Us

About Us.

The Peninsula Baseball & Softball Association provides ball playing opportunities to the boys and girls of the Saanich Peninsula and some Southern Gulf Islands. We play our home games at Rotary Park - Field of Dreams adjacent to Victoria Airport and Alexander Field at Centennial Park on Wallace Drive.

As part of the Greater Victoria Baseball Association (GVBA) and playing under the rules of BC Minor Baseball, we provide baseball programs from five years old (Kindergarten age) through to adults. Most divisions are two year programs and include Rally Cap, Tadpole, Mosquito, Peewee, Bantam, Midget and Post-Midget adults playing in the South Island Baseball League (SIBL). Our spring season runs from April to the end of June. Players wishing to play summer all-star baseball have the opportunity to join forces with players from throughout GVBA and play a summer season that runs from June to the first week of August culminating in Provincial championships at all skill levels. PBSA also participates in the long standing GVBA fall ball program in the Tadpole, Mosquito, Peewee and Bantam divisions.

As part of the South Vancouver Island (SVI) Fastball Association and playing under the rules of Softball BC, we provide girls only softball programs to players six years of age through to eighteen years of age. Most divisions are two year programs and include Blue Mite/Learn to Play, U10 (Red Mite), U12 (Squirt), U14 (Peewee), U16 (Bantam), and U19 (Midget). Our spring season runs from April to the end of June culminating in SVI District playoffs with the top teams moving on to Provincial championships.

PBSA is also very proud to field an Adult Challenger baseball program for our friends who recently graduated from the Little League Challenger baseball program. Our Challenger team plays games with other teams in the Victoria area.
